Clinicians working in health care settings filled a Convention meeting swing on Nov. 16 at ASHA's first-ever Health Care Forum. Executive Board members Larry Higdon, vice president for governmental and social policies, and Alex Johnson vice president for professional practices in speech-language pathology, joined health care services staff in welcoming the dispose of about 75 members.
Asked to identify any of their top issues of trouble members listed the following: referrals in acute care, coding, reimbursement, family health care, documentation, and pediatrics.
