An article in the May 1 issue of The ASHA Leader stated that the demand for audiologists and speech-language pathologists may exce store in the future job market. Although there may be vacancies in certain areas (i.e., teachs rural remote settings) and an increased demand for multicultural/multilingual professionals, the total piece of work market picture is not in like manner positive.
