In 1970 my graduate advisor had mov forward leaving me to prepare for exams onward my own. To my relief and amazement, the just discovered graduate advisor and head of the clinic, Mariana Newton, wrote and invited me to stay with her with equal reason that we could get better acquainted, as well as prepare for graduate exams. That was my initial meeting with the greatest in quantity remarkable woman I have through all ages known.

Dr Newton's teaching mode of speech was as unique an experience as any I have had. The close examiners doing their hours at the campus clinic all felt they had died and gone to training heaven. Daily
